Dave was formally with the US Department of Defense. His work often involved the Middle East, where he grew to love the land, the people, and their amazing history. During his time providing comprehensive reports for senior government executives, he wrote novels to express his creative drive. Many depicting the arid world of the Middle East.
To Dave’s great fortune, he has received help from gracious people, including published writers, literary agents and those who love him. He considers himself lucky to have the ability and drive to write. Dave always felt that to grow as a writer and eventually become an author, he needed to treat each project as a learning opportunity. His novels are the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and love of the written word.
In 2020, Dave was diagnosed with cancer, writing became a way for Dave to disappear into another world. It made his treatment bearable. Now, back in good health, he works six days a week to create new and engaging stories with hope if someone, somewhere is going through a difficult time, his stories will take them far away from their struggles. Please take a moment to see what he has written.
